  What's The Most Important Thing In A Relationship To You?

  That's a good question. Reopened Mind and me will be married for 40 years at the end of march. So what has keep us together for so many years? One could say good commuication but there is more to it than that. Trust is very important. Trust that our mate will never do anything that will hurt the other in deed and speech. Forgiveness in each other short comings. Talking to each other in a loving way. We use love and dear when we talk to each other. Just knowing we have been to hell and back with each other makes us very close to each other. I could go on and on. But what is the most important thing in a relationship to me. Knowing every morning and during the day and the last thing before we go to sleep is hugging and kissing each other. It never grows old and proof we still love each other and want to be part of each other lifes. Still Totally ADD

  Thirty Years a Watch Tower Slave

  i just finished reading this and enjoyed it.

  however, if i was newly awakening or on the verge of awakening, i dont think this book would have helped me a great deal.

  brother schnell has some good thoughts, however, he is short on detail and description, and even shorter on proof and documentation.. it is interesting reading about the transition of the bible students from a small group of independent noncomformists into an organization characterized by total conformity.

  The only time I heard of the book was in the late 70's. I was out in field service and the householder brought out this book and ask me what I thought of it. I looked at the title of the book and told the householder the person must not of been very smart if it took him 30 years to figure he did not want to be a JW. Then I told him every religion has people who are not happy in what they are in. This was at a time I was a total robot of the JW cult and I was very happy with my answer. If I only knew back then. Things would have been diffrent. I would think the person who wrote the book has died by now if not he is very old. That's all I know. Still Totally ADD

  Almost 2 years lurking then sign up I believe in Jan. of 2009. I was the P.O. at the time. Then finally in Jan. 2011 I left and never looked back. I really had to think hard in what year this all happen. Boy were has all the time gone? Still Totally ADD

  Confusion of languages to stop man.......

  curious why god confused the languages back in nimrods day for all that they might accomplish working together...building "tall" buildings etc.... i mean have you seen some of the sky scrapers these days?!?

  wtf?

  why does't he fracture spoken language some more to stop all this fricken technology.. and now with google translate anyone can talk to anyone ;-).

  Problems of Dating the Watchtower Way

  i wanted to know what problems you have learned about dating in the "truth" acording to there policy.

  i feel like you dont really know someone until you live with them.

  also some put on a false personality until they get what they want i.e.

  WT rules. Don't touch, don't look, don't feel anything, no touching yourselve after a date, no kissing, no tight clothing, no short clothing on low cut clothing, no talking about how much you love each other only talk about WT stuff, no dreamy eyes just keep your eyes to yourself, make sure you are never alone with your date, remember God does not trust you even though he invented sex he does not want you to have it until you paid the high price of marriage at a young age, again don't touch yourself God invented those hands for other things, and never and I mean never think about sex even though God invented it because he will kill you because you are made to procreate, also and follow this very closely there are a group of old men who wear out of style suits telling you they know what is best for you and you better listen to them or they will ruin your life forever with guilt. I am sure there is more but thats all I can think of for now. Still Totally ADD

  it's been 6 months now since my old computer died.

  a good friend of our's had a spare computer her husband never used so she asked me if i would like to have it.

  after cleaning it up inside and out i found out i could not remember my password and the e-mail i gave them i no longer use.

  Thank you all for your kind comments. Both Reopened Mind and me are for the most part very happy. As far as our kids go, they are grown adults and they will have to come to terms themself on what they are doing. We can only hope they will wake up someday and say "you know mom & dad was right about this cult." Time will only tell. Vegtables garden, chickens and wild herbs canning and art is what we center our life on and education on these subjects. The next big thing I am deep into is Aqua Ponics. Using fish and worms to feed your plants. We live a very simple life and only the best to everyone. I also hope to meet some of you one of these days. Jamie you will be our first. We was in your neck of the woods just 2 weeks ago but we could not stop and say hi. We are after all only 2 1/2 hours from you. We will see what we can do about that. I do find one 20mg. pill a day and coffee keeps me under control everyday. It has turn my life around. See you later everyone. Still Totally ADD
